Howard’s Flea Market in Homosassa, FL.

My husband and I happened upon Howard’s Flea Market on our drive to New Orleans form New Port Richey. We decided Howard’s would be a great place to go back to in the near future. Well, 3 weeks later we found ourselves at Howard’s. We were not sure what to really expect. We had been to many flea markets when we lived in Illinois. This was not much different, except for most of the vendors were inside buildings. Pleasant surprise considering the heat in Florida.

Spice up your outdoors with these great finds. Flamingo anyone?

Howard’s has been running since 1972. It has changed ownership a few times, but the Howards are back to owning and running the establishment. The flea market offers lots of great finds. There are antiques, crafters, live plants, live animals for adoption, food and so much more. While our journey led us to buying only 2 waters, you might find the perfect treasure for your home.

The flea market is open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 am until 3 pm. Check out their website for more information https://www.howardsfleamarket.com/. You never know. You may want to become a vendor yourself one day at Howard’s.
